well as everyone knows, jess puked for most of the day, in the street, in school, on the bus, off the bus...the usual
we slept for most for the day trying to recover from the mayhem from the night before.
all of us finally regrouped and showered and got ready and went out to eat early for roman time aka 10pm...and we decided to venture to a local restaurant about 2 min away from our apt....this is where we first felt unwelcome in this city
we simply asked for a table for 4 and were asked to wait a few minutes which we discovered after figuring out the little italian we knew...ok fine...
literally, this restaurant was packed ok...but there were about 2 tables outside that were open, and about 10 open inside, mostly located by the windows...we were escorted to the last table in the back of the restaurant pretty much sitting in the bathroom or the kitchen if you may...we were treated like retarded deformed immigrants who deserved nothing more than bread and water and god forbid we were put near the regular local customers....it was actually really humiliating, especially when we walked to our table and everyone starred. we tried our best to get through dinner and withhold our dignity and finally escaped and ventured back to campo di fiore as we did last night...aka a huge square of bars...ps this restaurant was filled with millions of cats, no not the real animal, but pictures on the walls, a bunch of shelfs with cat figurines, cat clocks...it was fucking weird, and they were making us feel like outcasts? these ppl were strangeeee
...then we had the "mega mixer" welcome back party...this was a huge party located near the Colosseum where the music was decent for most of the night until they threw in a ton of ace of base and mc hammer...it was a little odd, but it was actually amazing except we didnt know that each drink was about 10 euro..which means about 13$ US...NOT OK!! we were pissed...our roommate kaitie from LI amost stabbed someone while waiting on the line to get drinks and i feared for our lives...there were gross italians pushing everywhere...jess and i were choked by 1 guys who thought that was a smooth way to dance, things got messy but we met some cool guys who go to our school, 1 of which is a replica of chris black with a bit more facial hair...so we hung out with them then left and headed to their awesome apt (right near where martina lived actually) ...on the way we passed teh Colosseum which is beautiful at night and im not gona lie, i almost peed like on it haha...we decided to hang out with the guys and stayed until about 5 am...we collected ourselves and decided we should bizounce and here we are...its about 6am..we are tired...slightly drunk..and ready to sleep till late tomorrow, hopefully we wont waste the day again catching up on sleep...
