its now nov. 19th and i must think back to the beginning of fall break which is a great place to start...
our fall break consisted of beginning in scotland, we stayed in glasgow both nights but also ventured to edinburgh during our second day to visit the castles and what nots. we got there the night before halloween, costume-less, freezing, and basically in the dark as to why we were in scotland to begin with. not that we didnt want to be there, but for all of our other destinations we basically had a clue of our itinerary, but for scotland we knew nothing to expect nor did we know how our halloween would work out, this was important b/c its a very serious holiday to all of us
the first morning we woke up we headed out to explore the city aka find a starbucks then explore the city ha, but as we took our first steps away from our hostel we stumbled across a store that luckily sold halloween costumes. the funny thing about europe is that they dont have actual costume stores, but they pretty much stick halloween stuff into a regular store that would sells clothes and houseware stuff. susan obviously wanted to be a nun and we found her a costume, jess bought a beer maid outfit that we figured no one would know what she was but us since we attended oktoberfest, kaitie was the devil b/c she felt it was just right for her, and i was my most hated race, a mexican haha

so after we dropped off our cool new outfits we headed into glasgow and hit up our fav way to see the cities we venture to, the tour bus haha glasgow was really cute although very cold but it was nice. we decided to go to a pub and grab food after the bus and tried some scottish beer. then we headed back to the hostel to get ready for our night.
we got dressed in our rediculous outfits then went downstairs to the "club" within our hostel. lets just say we were pleasantly surprised of the outcome of halloween in scotland. people were decked out in amazing costumes. the first one i saw was a guy dressed as edward scissor hands and he was perfect, straight out of the movie. we spent some time pregaming there, met a bunch of people from scotland that we culd barely understand due to their thick accents, then met some kids that told us of a club called garage(pronounced ga-ridge according to them) that was supposed to be sick. we walked miles to reach this place in uncomfortable shoes, dressed in summer attire in the 30 degree weather of scotland like assholes then finally made it there. after waiting on a line for about 45 min which felt like 47 days we could tell our drunkeness was wearing off bc we could feel feelings again haha and were freeeeezing. once we made it in it was insanneeeeeee. first thing we see that was hysterical was a game where you win toys and connected to the toys were packs of cigarettes and/or $5 bills haha..it was great....this place was liek 4 floors with soo many different rooms and crazy wut nots happening all over the place. we saw amazing costumes and had a glorious night.
the next day we were lazy and ended up visiting edinburgh which is a more hystorical, less partyish type of place. this is where cool castles are and cool building and stuff like that. on our way we had a nice encounter with 3 women, prob around 30yrs old who were sitting on the train near us. they were all laughing about a tabloid they found with oprah on the front and were making fun of her and americans, we started laughing then kaitie was liek uhh we're american lol..they were so embarrassed but it was funny so we talked to them the whole way. scottish people in general were really nice we decided after our visit.
after we explored the city we went to a really cool pub for dinner and i was very adventurous and ordered some scottish meal that ended up being great. we hung out there for awhile them took the train back to glasgow. that night we hung out at the bar at our hostel, played pool, talked to some cool people and some creepers then kaitie and susan went out for a bit and me and jess chilled at that bar. we had to be up at 4am to catch our flight to paris, little did we kno that going to ed at 3 for "a nap" would lead us to over-sleeping and missing our flight...
$300 later for a new ticket to paris later that day all we could do was laugh at our dumb we were.

(on the train to the airport after we realized we missed out flight)
we spent most of that day in the airport since we didnt have a flight till late that afternoon, kaitie and i had a air-hockey marathon where i was the champion (obviously muahahaha haha) i bought a 600 pg book which i thought id never finish (which i did woop woop!) then we finally made it to paris that night around 9
we checked into our hotel then sprinted to the nearest food location...mcdonalds lol
that night we passed out early b/c we needed to cram in all of paris in 1 day before we left for dublin the next day after that....that morning we woke up and were out by 9 heading to the lurve (cant spell it and dont care lol) we ran around this place in like an hr lol we hit up the mona lisa, saw a bunch of other shit then ran to the eiffle tower, took the necessary pics then sprinted to notre dam haha...grabbed a crepe after, dripped nutella all over our faces and loved it and then went to the happiest place on earth.....DISNEYLAND!!!
this place was glorious...it was so happy and great just like we expected, only difference was that all teh songs and rides were in french lol we had a great time then went to dinner at planet hollywood, obviously we needed to hit up the gift shops though and i must say, me susan and jess bought some amazing hats, they got nice new mini ear and i bought the santa hat of a lifetime!
when we got back it was around 1130 so we were dead, clearly the most effort all of us had ever put into sightseeing in our lives and we did all of paris in about 14 hrs...pretty impressive if you ask me...we passed out, well not before watching family guy and south park in german, not french, we dont kno why, but it was interesting. our next destination was DUBLIN and i was soooooooooo excited!
